Mask Off

During the Design Tool and Skill workshop, one of the tasks assigned to the students was to create a 1:1 mask based on their own face. To begin, I applied colored vertex points on my face as a reference. Next, I utilized Rhinoceros to model my face as a triangulated folded surface in 3D. To bring this digital surface to a physical mask, I prepared an unrolled surface file. I then printed out the Rhino surface and folded it into a mask, resulting in a representation of my own face.
